Dr. Christine Tsang

Dr. Christine Tsang is Chair and Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Huron University College.  Her research examines the development of music perception and cognition. Her many research interests include examining the effect of context on infant musical preferences, multimodal perception of music during infancy, and the role of music training on language and cognitive development. Dr. Tsang’s Infant and Child Research Lab at Huron typically involves multiple undergraduate students working on several different research questions, several of whom are listed as authors on published works.  In her teaching, Dr. Tsang emphasizes the development of core reading and writing skills that are critical to doing good research.
