The Centre for Undergraduate Research Learning aims to transform undergraduate learning through experiential learning opportunities that support students in research, academia, and their future careers.
We have four fundamental strategic directions:
1. Enhance student learning with highly engaging, immersive research experiences.
2. Enhance existing faculty research strengths by facilitating engagement and collaboration with students.
3. Enhance faculty teaching by fostering mentorship and sharing of student research learning practices.
4. Facilitate research partnerships with Huron’s external community.
Each year, CURL awards up to 9 Student Research Fellowships and up to eight Student Bursaries. We also host 2 Conferences per year, the Fall Exhibition in December and the Spring Conference in April. Our partners at the Huron Library facilitate two proposal writing workshops per year.
