Headed to Huron in 2021-22? Here’s a quick checklist of information and links that will introduce you to our programs, courses, and research!
Courses: We have six first year courses on offer, all unique to Huron: Histories of Love; Histories of Violence; History in the Headlines; The People’s History; Treasure: Objects of Desire; and A Few Words that Changed the World.

Coming events: February is Black History Month. Join us for a special online events including a student research conference, and a keynote lecture supported by English and Cultural Studies, History, and FASS from Governor General Award-winning author Lawrence Hill.
March 9, 2021 Join us for an online Historian’s Craft Workshop on historical documentaries with History at Huron alumnus and filmmaker Steve Gamester.
