CURL Student Profile: Taylor Boyd

We at CURL love to celebrate the exceptional undergraduate scholars that make their home at Huron!

Meet Taylor Boyd, a 4th-year Honours Specialization Psychology and Scholar’s Electives student.

Taylor’s commitment to helping fellow students earned her the title of Student Representative on CURL’s 2017-18 steering committee, and she is the current president of the Huron Psychology Association. In 2017, she traveled to Norway to participate in CURL delegation as a student rep, while in 2018, as part of her Scholar’s Electives project, she returned to Norway to conduct research on Norwegian primary schools. She presented her research findings at the 2018 CURL Spring Conference and at McMaster’s Education & Cognition Symposium in August.

Taylor’s research interests include conceptions of creativity and factors in motivation for academic achievement. She is a Huron Hellmuth Scholarship recipient and is also on the Dean’s Honour Roll.

Thanks for all you do at Huron, Taylor! We’re so lucky to have you in our community.
