Our Roots in Activism March 4, 2026

Join us in the Medline Student Commons, 12-1 pm. Researchers Neisa Long and Jayden Wright will share their findings from project work in Bath, Manchester and London, where we revisited our project questions in transatlantic context. The project highlights the value of institutional-community partnerships to expand our collective understanding of Black life, resistance, agency and allyship, and offers comparative case studies in the power of history-as-activism.

Our Roots in Activism is a SSHRC-funded Knowledge Synthesis Grant (2024-2025, N. Reid-Maroney and N. Solomon, co-investigators).
