The Healthy Behaviours in an Online World conference was jointly developed by Dr. Tara Dumas, Associate Professor in the Psychology Department at Huron University College and the TVDSB Safe Schools team in London, Ontario.

Huron’s Psychology program fosters students’ development in core research skills and actively facilitates diverse opportunities for undergraduate research mobilization, including paid research assistantships, community-partnered projects, and this very conference. Likewise, rigorous Liberal Arts, Business, and Theology programs; Liberated Arts, a peer-reviewed academic research journal; and the Centre for Undergraduate Research Learning, which awards funds and mentorship for students’ independent research,
all make their homes at Huron.

HBOW has been an online event (2020-2024) and an in-person event (2018, 2019 and 2025).  When the conference is in-person, we invite students, teachers and parents to join us right here at Huron:
