Welcome to the second Healthy Behaviours in an Online World conference!
The internet and its various social media platforms are a key part of life in today’s society, particularly for youth. Unfortunately, when researchers attempt to develop knowledge and tools for using the internet in a healthy, safe, and productive way, youth are often left out of the conversation. We aim to remedy this.
Join us on Monday, April 1, 2019, at Huron University as we bring secondary and post-secondary students and educators together in an interactive format to discuss and share research on salient topics related to the use of social media in our day to day lives.
There will be presentations given by senior university students and a keynote speaker, in addition to interactive discussion sessions. All Huron students, TVSDB high school students and educators are welcome. You can register here. We can’t wait to see you!
The HBOW conference was jointly developed by Huron University College’s Psychology Department and the Thames Valley District School Board’s Safe Schools Team.
