Kim Melton is a queer naturalist, writer and farmer living on the traditional and contemporary lands of the Tr’ondek Hwech’in First Nation, on the Klondike River near Dawson City, Yukon. She has a background in the biological sciences and co-owns Klondike Valley Nursery, Canada’s northernmost orchard and tree nursery. Her most heartfelt writing centers non-human beings and asks questions about our relationships with animals, plants, ecosystems and places.
