Provenance A: Binding  Bound in early limp parchment with remains of holes and stubs of silk ties on both boards. Chain staple mark on front board. Spine has author in MS. and “Brooks Heraldr[y]” in gilt on red leather label.
Provenance B: Ownership Marks Copy contains “The Authours gifte” on title page. This is one of several surviving gift copies. Copy also contains the early printed book label of Brasenose College Principal, Samuel Radcliffe, and his donation in 1648. Various shelfmarks also on inner front board, and similar College gift inscription in MS. on inner back board.
