Sig. 1¶r contains inscription reading “Lib. Hac Jurid Edin”. Title page contains early inscription reading “empt: Lond: 1629” and “Jacobus Balfourius Inuidos virtute torquebo Leo Rex Armorum.” Thus, it was purchased in London in 1629 by Sir James Balfour (1600-1657).
