Provenance A: Binding  Bound in later red cloth with speckled fore-edges. Title in gilt on spine reads “Brooke. Kings, Princes, Dukes of England.” Copy is dampstained with some leaves repaired.
Provenance B: Ownership Marks Copy contains Leeds Public Library bookplate on inner front pastedown. Front endpaper has large inscription reading “Will: Lygon July. 18. 1642”. Verso of same endpaper has evidence of pen trials. Additional inscription on title page with motto reads “Christ est mort pour nos peches.” 
Provenance C: Annotations Copy contains annotations including notes and corrections on pp. 51, 265, and 310. Four pages of additional notes, in a later hand, on back endpapers. Stamp dated May 1936 on inner back pastedown.
