Provenance A: Binding  Bound in later gilt-tooled red calf? with gilt frame. Foredges cropped and reddened. Rebacked spine contains six compartments with gilt title “Succession of Kings” in compartment two and “1622” in gilt at foot. Each compartment contains golt-tolled decorative ornamnets.
Provenance B: Ownership Marks Copy contains “The Authours guift” inscribed at top of title page. This is one of several surviving gift copies.
Provenance C: Annotations Copy contains tricked arms and annotation reading “Wevers mon: 679 677″ on title page, which is a reference to John Weever’s Ancient Funeral Monuments. Cropped MS cross-references found throughout and a strikethrough on p. 63.
