Provenance A: Binding  Bound in half calf over marbled boards. Flat spine contains six compartments with gilt bands and gilt title “Brookes Succession of Kings” on red leather label in compartment two.
Provenance B: Ownership Marks Copy contains early ink inscriptions reading “S[Greene?]” at head of title page and on recto of dedication. Titlepage also contains inscription reading “Tho: [Smith?]”. Recto of dedication contains shelfmark and library stamp reading “Reference Library” at foot.
Provenance C: Annotations Copy contains numerical notations on recto and verso of table and ink drawing of a shield on p. 392. Verso of table contains lengthy supplementary annotaion in an early hand. Inscription likely details the arms? of Robert Radcliffe Earle of Sussex, whose name follows the heraldic description.
