| Provenance A: Binding | Bound in half calf over marbled boards. Spine contains five compartments with title “Catalogue of Kings etc. Brooke” on red label in compartment two and “1619” at foot, both in gilt. |

| Provenance C: Annotations | Copy contains ink annotations in at least three different hands and some page numbers have also been corrected. Most of the blank arms have been tricked in ink and several blazons have been corrected or added in MS. The “Errors Published in Print” (*1r) has MS. additions at head and foot that match those found in Brooke’s own copy at the Huntington. These annotations are in the same hand. |
