Provenance A: Binding  Bound in early blind-tooled calf with rebacked spine. Spine contains six compartments.
Provenance B: Ownership Marks Copy contains college bookplate on inner front pastedown. Recto of front endpaper contains Latin presentation inscription from Henry Dethick to John Gibbon, and repeated inscription signed “Johan Gibbon, 1649” at foot. Recto of second front endpaper contains Latin donation inscription from Henry Dethick to the College of Arms in 1682. Front endpaper also contains a passage written by Henry Dethick (1623-1707) and affirmed as Dethick’s by William Dugdale, which matches an inscription in the British Library copy. College of Arms stamp on title page and Dethick donation inscription at top. Verso of final endpaper contains signature reading “Henry Dethick”.
Provenance C: Annotations Copy contains corrections on 2para3v, 5, and 4para2r. Corrections on sigs. C5v-C6v, D6v, F5v, and F6v.
