Provenance A: Binding  Bound in faded marbled boards with rebacked spine. Spine has six compartments with compartment two containing “Brooke’s Catalogue” in gilt on black label.
Provenance B: Ownership Marks Copy contains the armorial bookplate of “Thomas Ridgate Maxwell Esq.” on inner front pastedown and “The Library of Yorkshire Archeological Society Press Mark 8E13 in memory of Rev. Carus Vale Collier” on same pastedown. “The Authours guift” inscribed at top of title page. This is one of several surviving gift copies. Early inscription of “Rob Maunsell” and an additional unidentified owner’s inscription also found on title page.
