| Provenance B: Ownership Marks | Copy contains two early cropped signatures at head of title page. Bookplate of Joseph Foster on inner front pastedown. | Provenance C: Annotations | Copy contains heavy annotations with numerous supplements, cross-references, genealogies and blazons in French throughout. Some notes seem to extend the family lines into the 1630s and 40s. Many of the marginal notes have been cropped. French index of arms on front endpaper. Additional notes on final endpapers in same hand records notes relating to King Charles and other nobles with a date of 1634. |
