Provenance A: Binding  Bound in later red cloth with title “Brooke” in gilt on flat spine. Boards are loose and tied.
Provenance B: Ownership Marks Copy contains early Latin ownership inscription with date and price. A rough translation reads, The book of Edward Trotman, previously tutor of the Inner Temple, pretium 11s[?], 9 Feb. 1620. Likely a reference to Edward Trotman (1580-1643) who was admitted to Inner Temple in 1598. Additional inscription reads, “H. Clerici Londini 1691.” Manchester Library armorial bookplate on inner front pastedown. Bottom of bookplate has shelfmark and MS. note “unlisted” in pencil.
Provenance C: Annotations Copy contains corrections in MS. on p.23 and in “A Table of the Seuerall Catalogues”.
