Provenance A: Binding  Bound in blind-tooled brown calf.
Provenance B: Ownership Marks Copy contains the ink inscriptions of “Rog Wilbram” and “Randle Wilbraham” on title page. Both are connected to Rode Hall, Cheshire, with the former possibly being the Roger Wilbraham who purchased the estate in 1669. There are several Randle Wilbrahams, including one who served as a British MP in the 18th-century. For more, see Rode Hall History. Front endpaper also has the shelfmark of E R G Salisbury (W 6 455).
Provenance C: Annotations Copy contains a select number of annotations, including minor corrections and strike-throughs on 2para.2 and p.262. Page 4 contains a slightly longer annotation on Barons taken from William Bird’s Treatise of the Nobilitie of the realme (London, Walbancke and Best, 1642), p.66.
