Serenity Sisters represents how we hold women in high esteem and how everyone has a responsibility; they are the mothers of the chiefs and the clans. The women follow through with their blood, and everyone under her comes from her in matrilineage – her granddaughters, her nieces, and so on. The women in general have different responsibilities, but these aren’t predetermined. Everyone has a different way of ending up there. These are some of the responsibilities of all women; some become faith keepers, some clan mothers. Some who don’t have children of their own, help raise their relatives’ children.
