Bear Wolf is an original design the artist created for his family circle. Earlier designs include two eagles facing each other to represent the family circle. The eagle design is commonly used in weddings to symbolize equality within the union as the height of each eagle is the same. The artist’s incorporation of bears and wolves symbolizes the meetings of the spirits and the clans.
