Joint Minor in Public History<\/strong><\/p>\n

Join us in the new Huron\/King\u2019s\/Western Joint Minor in Public History<\/strong>–the first and only undergraduate Public History program in Canada. The 4.0 course module will introduce you to the field of Public History<\/a>, and provide opportunities for gaining practical experience through partnerships with museums, heritage organizations, libraries and archives.<\/p>\n

The Public History module is supported by Huron History\u2019s program strengths in community-based research<\/a> and active history, and by the breadth and depth of Public History scholarship and course offerings in the Department of History at Western and the Department of History at King’s.<\/p>\n

Huron students can combine the minor module in Public with other History modules, or with modules in other disciplines, such as Archaeology; Classical Studies; English and Cultural Studies; Geography; Media, Information and Technoculture; and Visual Art.<\/p>\n
