Diana Bychkova is a book historian, conservator, and artist. Together with Stephan Romanyshyn, she operates DS Artistry Labs which specializes in the production and restoration of antiques and rare books. While completing her PhD at Western University, Bychkova spent a stint working in research at the Huron Library.<\/p>\n
Bychkova\u2019s copy of Shakespeare\u2019s Sonnets<\/em>, the prototype of which is included in this exhibition, is the only non-letterpressed piece on display.\u00a0 The book was hand made from the binding and d\u00e9cor to the calligraphy contained inside.
