The couple worked on Houton Street in Liverpool from 1805 until Mr. Harris\u2019 death. Mrs. Harris continued to run the shop printing under the name \u201cG.F. Harris\u2019s widow\u201d until she began working with her brothers-in-law \u00a0at which time they printed first as \u201cG.F. Harris\u2019 widow and brothers\u201d then as \u201cHarris and Co.\u201d The press was closed in 1834.<\/p>\n<p>The copy of <em>The Fly Fisher\u2019s Guide<\/em> included in this exhibition suggests Harris\u2019 commitment to the art of book making. It features several high-quality colour print-plates and carefully laid out type.
