{"id":1930,"date":"2018-09-10T22:19:14","date_gmt":"2018-09-10T22:19:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.huronresearch.ca\/curl\/?p=1874"},"modified":"2018-11-16T16:24:35","modified_gmt":"2018-11-16T16:24:35","slug":"curl-student-profile-taylor-boyd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.huronresearch.ca\/curl\/2018\/09\/10\/curl-student-profile-taylor-boyd\/","title":{"rendered":"CURL Student Profile: Taylor Boyd"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We at CURL love to celebrate the exceptional undergraduate scholars that make their home at Huron!<\/p>\n<p>Meet Taylor Boyd, a 4th-year Honours Specialization Psychology and Scholar\u2019s Electives student.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor\u2019s commitment to helping fellow students earned her the title of Student Representative on CURL\u2019s 2017-18 steering committee, and she is the current president of the Huron Psychology Association. In 2017, she traveled to Norway to participate in CURL delegation as a student rep,<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">\u00a0while in 2018, as part of her Scholar\u2019s Electives project, she returned to Norway to conduct research on Norwegian primary schools. She presented her research findings at the 2018 CURL Spring Conference and at McMaster\u2019s Education &amp; Cognition Symposium in August.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>Taylor&#8217;s research interests include conceptions of creativity and factors in motivation for academic achievement. She is a Huron Hellmuth Scholarship recipient and is also on the Dean\u2019s Honour Roll.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for all you do at Huron, Taylor!
