Two Loons and Sun

Norval Morrisseau (1932-2007)

c. 1960s
Acrylic on kraft paper
18″ x 22″

Loons rely on water, and water is a symbol for dreams and multiple levels of consciousness. We see the sun connected to both the loons and the circle by powerlines, showing how the sun provides energy for the earth and the whole ecosystem.
